GAski

Beautiful, tidy beaches, excellent seaside climate and the charm of this little summer resort are unquestionable advantages of this picturesque place. Thanks to those advantages the tourists discover again and again that Gąski is a superb place for recreation. This village, located 12 km away from Mielno, offers tranquillity and recreation, combined with inexpensive accommodation opportunities.
In Gąski there is Poland’s second tallest lighthouse. Erected in 1878, it is 50,2 m tall. To its terrace on the top lead 190 stairs; if you get to the top, you will be awarded a breathtaking view.
The light of the lighthouse, visible in good weather from the distance of approx. 20 sea miles (about 36 km), gives that whole place a very original charm.

The lighthouse is the centre of the village, around it different gastronomic and service facilities are located. For amber fans numerous shops have prepared a wide choice of jewellery and souvenirs. In the evenings dancing parties and discos take place here.

Gąski is also famous for its health resort advantages; the village owes its reputation to green clay deposits. This natural raw material has recognized cosmetic and healing properties. Treatments using that substance are called agrillotherapy. It is a healing but also a beauty treatment.
